The 30 books, new and backlist titles, I plan to read in 2023
My yearly, 30 book TBR is one of my favorite things to guide my reading for the year. Just like in 2021, I had huge successes in 2022 with over 10 five star reads. So of course I had to continue this year long TBR in 2023!
Similar to last year, I focused on 5 themes with 6 titles in each category – primarily recent releases of the past few years and a couple upcoming releases by authors I love. There is quite a mix in terms of genre, everything from mystery-thriller, horror, science fiction, historical fiction, contemporary fiction, and romance, to more out-of-my-comfort-zone genres like dystopian, young adult, magical realism, and fantasy
